Cats Protection challenge events terms and conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept them.
By signing up for the event, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in the event. Anyone unsure of their physical ability to take part in the event must seek medical advice from their doctor prior to the event.
Participants enter the event at their own risk and, so far as permitted by law, Cats Protection shall not be liable for any injury or loss to persons or their property that might occur as a result of their participation in the event.
Event registration fees are non-refundable.
Participants must use their best endeavors to raise the full fundraising target for the event. You should inform the Cats Protection Events team as soon as possible if you can’t achieve the fundraising target. Failure to keep on track with fundraising or a lack of response to contact from the Cats Protection Events team could result in your place in the event being removed.
Participants should inform the Cats Protection Events team as soon as possible if they are unable to take part in the event.
Where relevant, participants are aware that their place in an event isn’t confirmed until they have completed their registration with the event organisers, and they must complete this step as soon as possible. The Cats Protection Events team will trigger this step once they have received your initial registration form.
All donated monies collected in support of Cats Protection must be forwarded to the charity or returned to the individual sponsors if it transpires that you are unable to participate in the event for any reason. Monies already received by the charity will not be refunded.
Event participants are classed as “in-aid-of" fundraisers. This means you are asking for money for charitable purposes independently of a charity.
To claim your free Cats Protection technical running vest or t-shirt, we kindly ask that you first raise £50 towards your fundraising goal. This can be raised via your online fundraising page or through your offline fundraising. Please let the Events team know once you have raised £50 and we will send out your free top.
