In memory of Miley

Our beloved Miley was taken from us far too soon at just five years old. Though her time with us was short, she filled our lives with immeasurable joy, love, and companionship. She answered to many affectionate nicknames, including Schatzi-Bärli, Kittybear, Schatzi-Mau, Miley-Mau, Mau-Bärli-Bär, Kittycato, and Little Watermelon. No matter what we called her, she was always our precious girl. Miley had a special way of making every day brighter. After coming back home, she would greet us with her comforting purrs and a cuddle session. When she wanted attention, she would make her distinctive little "brrr" sound before jumping up beside us. She also had a very expressive "complaint meow" whenever she didn’t want to be moved or picked up. And when it came to food, fish-flavoured meals were always her clear favourite. She loved cuddling on the sofa or bed, snuggled close to us, yet she also enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood and keeping watch over her territory. Although shy around other people, she fearlessly chased away rival cats. Despite being a little clumsy and wearing a bell, Miley still managed to catch the occasional bird or mouse. Indoors, she loved sleeping beneath the heating throw under our legs or watching the neighbourhood from the windowsill. Outdoors, she had two favourite bushes from which she observed the garden. Whenever we worked in the garden, she would supervise from nearby, always wanting to be part of whatever we were doing. We wish we had been given more time with her, but we treasure every moment and every memory. Miley leaves a space in our hearts that can never be filled, and she will be loved, missed, and remembered forever!
